L-R: OPI Russian Navy, OPI Kennebunk-port, OPI Lady in Black, OPI Barefoot in Barcelona, Nails Inc Victoria.

Ok, so it might look like I’m a bit of an OPI snob…truth be told though, I do own loads of different brands of nail polish, but OPI was my first love, and as you can see, they have remained as my go-to shades…

So anywho, these are my favourite polishes for Autumn/Winter time. My all time favourite out of these is Russian Navy. With the light reflecting on it above you can see the bluey-ness (I might’ve just made up a word there…) but from far away it looks almost black.

Next we have Kennebunk-port, this is a real blood-red colour, I’d say it’s slightly darker than it looks in the picture above. When I first bought it I wasn’t sure if it was too ‘blood-like’ but after wearing it for a week or so I now love it.

Lady in Black is a true black, as you might expect, I think everyone needs a true black polish in their collection even if just for halloween (!). I love a really dark polish, and the OPI ones especially are really glossy and I think the black can look really classy as opposed to just gothic.

Barefoot in Barcelona is a really nice nude, with a slight pinky/purply tinge to it. Very subtle, and in my opinion a really nice autumnal shade.

Last but not least we have Nails Inc Victoria. This one I believe I got free with a magazine, but I actually really like it. It’s a lovely deep brown colour with a slight reddish-brown tint to it in certain lights, and perfect for Autumn.

Do you have any Autumn/Winter favourites?
