It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas…

2014-12-07 15.12.07I’ve mentioned before about my excitement at buying Christmas decorations, so this year I set out to expand our collection even further…
I managed to get some more tree decorations from a few different places; Paperchase, Sass & Belle, as well as John Lewis. I already had a few from John Lewis that I’d bought last year but there were some different ones this time around so I couldn’t resist!2014-12-07 15.14.54At the Ideal Home Show I managed to pick up a few bits and pieces (this was at the Sass & Belle stand), some tree decs, and some other pieces to go around the flat. First up, Santa..
2014-12-07 15.18.35He’s about 20-25cm high (to give you some idea of scale) and he sits on our hall windowsill ready to greet us when we walk in.2014-12-07 15.13.29I’m pretty sure this silver one on the right ^^ was from Libertys last year, and the one on the left from John Lewis.2014-12-07 15.15.26
2014-12-07 15.15.52Another cute little purchase from Sass & Belle ^^ these reindeer ornaments. They were such a reasonable price, just £3 each! (The taller of the two is probably around 6 inches high.)2014-12-07 15.13.53
2014-12-07 15.12.48These little star decorations I got in a set from Marks and Spencer last year.2014-12-07 15.18.14Nick’s mum gave us this candle last year and it’s definitely working with the vaguely white theme I’ve got going on 🙂2014-12-07 15.13.01This one was from Paperchase this year (it’s full of little silver stars if you can’t see!) – they’ve got such a lot of Christmas decs in there, and I never even knew until recently, but there’s so much to choose from!2014-12-07 15.12.31
2014-12-07 15.17.31Another little santa from Sass & Belle, he’s only about 3 or 4 inches tall, and he just chills out next to our TV.
Last but not least, here’s our tree in it’s full glory! I’m so pleased with this tree, our one last year was a bit puny, but this one’s almost 7ft, and it just seems to be the perfect size. I’m a total real-tree-convert I have to say, having grown up never having a real tree I never really understood why people went for them, but now I absolutely love them! 🙂
