The living room!
Now I know I said that the bathroom had become my favourite room, but our living space is truly the best room because we’ve totally made it our own, and we spend more time in it that any other space, so it’s somewhere that I like to keep clean, tidy and looking good!
The shot above is of our coffee table, I did a post a looong time ago here about our coffee table decoration – while we were in our old flat actually. It has changed slightly, but is still more or less the same. The table itself has gotten a little grubbier in the 18 months or so that we’ve had it, but we still love it – it’s still available from Made.com here FYI, and the little candle holders are from Cargo Homeshop.
This was a birthday card, from Kayleigh in fact! I loved it, so decided to frame it and it’s now part of our gallery wall. There’s still a few things I’d like to add to the wall, it needs a little expansion, but there are some really nice pieces up there now. Below is my initial (there is an ‘N’ for #chefnick to go with it ๐ ) which was handmade by one of my best friends Stacey. She’s an art teacher, and a very talented one at that!
This one below is a Harry Potter themed print which I found on Etsy here. I’d been after a HP print for a while when I came across this one, and they even sent me this one for free too ๐
Now if you know me, you know I’m a little obsessed with cushions. When we moved into our first flat I spent literally hundreds of pounds on cushions, and dya know what I’m not even sorry. Ha. I bloody love them. I think we could do with one more for our sofa, as I relegated one to the cupboard as it had gotten a bit tatty. I know Zoella had some really nice ones from Edited so I might have a peek on there.
Ahh the copper clock ๐ My post here does this much more justice. I’m so glad I got this, it’s just soย prettyyyy!
Coffee table books. Except not on the coffee table. Oh the irony. Design * Sponge and Cupcakes and Cashmere were mine for Christmas and the centre book was Nick’s secret santa gift from work. I do love a good coffee table book ๐
Last but not least, this is a sweetie jar that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. It did used to house sweets, but in more recent years (I’ve lost count of how many) it has been a penny pot. I’m waiting until it’s filled right up to the brim, then I’ll cash it all in! I wonder how much is in there…?!

Looks great! I love the Harry Potter quote and owl pillow! ๐
