I think my style is fairly eclectic, I love pulling together elements from a wide range of styles and making it work within a space. Really this has to be done in moderation, otherwise you’d end up with clutter and mis-matched decor which makes no sense, but small pieces in different styles are great for creating accents or features. For instance, I love graphic art prints and quotes, yet I’ll also pair these with girly accents or busy boho fabrics. Again, all in moderation!I absolutely love the relaxed vibe of a boho interior though, with quirky pieces, warm, vibrant fabrics and beautiful rustic elements, it’s all so inviting.
Just look at the basin in the top collage, isn’t it to-die-for?! And I love the similar style in the prints used on the bedding. I really want to find something similar as a throw to go on the end of my bed to brighten it up a bit. I’m very much a fan of keeping bedding neutral, especially in a small space, but accessorising with cushions and throws is where you can jazz it up a bit!
I think where you can really go for it with a boho theme is outdoors – bringing rich, earthy textures outside creates a synergy between indoor and out, almost merging the two. It’s something I will definitely be incorporating when I have a proper outside space of my own one day!
